Bi-metal links are suitable for transition connection of the circular aluminium conductors and stranded sector aluminium conductors, in the distribution equipment and copper terminals of the electrical equipment. They are made from CU 99.9% purity and AL 99.5% purity.
The barrel is friction welded , so that the best possible transition between copper palm and aluminium barrel is achieved. The aluminium barrel is filled with joint compound and capped to avoid oxidization.
