DESCRIPTION

PLY-69W is an ethylene propylene rubber based high voltage tape possessing excellent electrical, chemical, and
physical properties. It is a self-amalgamating tape that maintains a tight insulation build-up for void free electrical stability and permanent resistance to moisture penetration. The excellent stretch permits fast taping speeds and uniform build-up with normal taping techniques. PLY-69W is compatible with all extruded dielectric cable insulations.

RECOMMENDED USES

 For insulating and jacketing of splices on power cables from 600 volts through to 69,000 volts and for building stress cones and jacketing of terminations on power cables from 600 volts though to 35,000 volts
 Moisture seal for all waterproofing needs and insulating and protecting busbar components
 Due to its high stable mechanical and chemical properties, PLY-69W is ideal for cable jacket repair and restoration
