Bi-metal lugs are suitable for transition connection of the circular aluminium conductors and stranded sector aluminium conductors in the distribution equipment and copper terminals of the electrical equipment. They are made from CU 99.9% purity and AL 99.5% purity.
The barrel is friction welded to the palm so that the best possible transition between copper palm and aluminium barrel is achieved. The barrel is filled with joint compound and capped to avoid oxidization.
