CJS’s jointing compounds are formulated to improve jointing conductivity and inhabit oxidization and corrosion between jointing contact areas. Jointing compound should always be applied to the contact surfaces of all aluminium to aluminium, aluminium to copper and copper to copper connections prior to compression or bolting.
EP-Uniseal is grease which contains lithium and zinc. It can be stable even in 150oC. The grease can prevent water and contaminants from interfering with the connection and prevents the formation of surface oxide. The zinc particles work to breakdown existing oxide on the conducting surfaces when those surfaces are brought together under pressure.
EP-Uniseal is the ideal choice using in the connection between aluminium to aluminium, aluminium to copper or bolts.
